The longest day of the year is behind us now. Have you noticed the light fading a little earlier in the evenings?  Though we still seek relief in the cool waters of Christmas Lake during blisteringly hot days, and fireflies continue to light the sky on warm summer nights, the sweetness of summer can’t last forever. Soon enough (especially here in southern Indiana) school will be back in session. Even if you’re not quite ready to rush out and start back-to-school shopping, we have a few tips for you to help prepare for the unavoidable end of summer. And though you may be feeling nostalgic and concerned that the days of summer are flying by too fast, just remember… sometimes, getting the kids back to school can be a good thing.
