St. Michael Fish Fry (April 7, 4:30pm -7:00 pm)
At St. Michael Catholic Church
St. Michael Catholic Church will serve fish dinners on the first six Fridays of Lent. There will be no dinners served on Good Friday. Meals will be served from 4:30 – 7:00pm) The meal will include fried fish or cheese pizza, with homemade sides of baked beans or macaroni and cheese, slaw, hushpuppies, dessert, and a drink. The price is $8 for adults and $5 for children six and under.
Men’s Lenten Breakfast (April 8, 8:00am - ?)
At Emmanuel Lutheran Church
The Men’s Lenten Breakfast Fellowship Group of Perry County plans to hold breakfast every Saturday throughout the Lenten season. Donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of the food. For more information call Bill Simpson at 812-457-5863
Lenten Coffee (April 8, 9:00am – 10:00am)
At Cannelton United Methodist Church
The Ladies Lenten Prayer Coffees will be held coffee socials during the Lenten season. All women and girls are invited to attend. There will be an offering taken at each session. At the final session, the group will decide which local charity will receive the offering. A light breakfast and program will be provided at each session.
William Tell Center Dance (April 8, 7:00pm - 10:00 pm)
At William Tell Center
The William Tell Center will hold a dance on April 8 with Merl Cox and the Goodtime Boys providing entertainment. The cost of the dance will be $5 for ages 12 and up. All ages are welcome to attend.
